How to join the club?
THE Club is open to all ages & stages of rider from Nippers UPWARDS
The club runs mainly cross country events on private land in the form of Sprint races, Grass Track (natural motocross like track), and Pony Express events which are a 4 hour enduro. As well as the sprint race, the club runs a 50cc Gymkhana for the little kids and this is very well attended, with up to 15 bikes present on the day.
Over the whole year the club facilitates and runs 11 day events for riders compete in.
Races normally run through March to November each year, with junior Training events normally starting in February.
To be able to compete you will need to have a number of different documents and licences depending upon your age and stage - all of these can be obtained on the day of racing, but it is a good idea to joing up before hand and save yourself some money overall.
What you need to race:
UNDER 16'S
- 5 Hours in the Junior Coaching Logbook, Club Membership, Racing Licence. Please note that riders need 5 Hours of Junior Coaching in the CC of the bike they intend to race. Change CC's means another 5 hours of training. In addition Under 16's are required to have a completed temporary guardianship form if their parent is unable to attend.
If you are under 16 years of age then you must have a log book (yellow book) to participate at any of our events, which is obtained from Motorcycling NSW after completing a kickstart training day with one of our coaches. You will also need to download the file below called "Armidale Motorcycle Club Membership", and if you want to hold a racing licence as well then download "Motorcycling NSW License Application". Remember you can sign up for club membership and get a day licence to race on the day of an event too if thats easier.
OVER 16'S
- Club Membership, Racing Licence.
If you are over 16 years of age then you need to download the file below called "Armidale Motorcycle Club Membership", and if you want to hold a racing licence as well then download "Motorcycling NSW License Application". Remember you can sign up for club membership and get a day licence to race on the day of an event too if thats easier.
Fees:
Membership runs annually starting in January each year. Club Membership fees are:
